I want to migrate my Joomla 1.5 website to latest version. I try to upgrade using j2xml, but not working. My website containing more than 500 articles and 1500 users. I am using community builder for user registration and for payment 2co checkout.
If the Joomla Pre-update checklist shows the extension is not ready for Joomla, you have to update it to the compatible version or disable it. It is strongly recommended to disable all incompatible extensions before you run the upgrade as they could break your upgrade. I have a ticket in to Joomshaper regarding the complatibility of their rythm template and SP Page Builder with Joomla 4 and PHP 8. They have yet to respond but I am wondering if there is any possibility that Akeeba tools might be causing a problem due to being installed but not set up. I would simply remove Akeeba tools for now just to simplify things but I don't want to cause any additional issues. Can you confirm that my Akeeba installations which are working properly under PHP 7.4 should not be involved with any issues associated with an upgrade to PHP 8? If so the problem must be entirely with Joomshaper software as I have done very little other than to create a couple of articles and menu items on the site.
